Lesson 9: Participation in education centers.

Lesson 9: Participation in education centers.

The preliminary ideas that I have of this topic are that families, student and staff of the school must participate in education centers, and that there are regulations regulating this participation.

I have learned that participation in schools is necessary. Also, the measures to foster the partipation of the educational community (for example: Encouraging organisations in each sector (associations) or Providing resources that encourage participation).

I have learned the participation bodies that are in the educational community , which include focused on teachers, students and on families.

The las thing I have learned in this lesson is what the legislation says about participation in schools:
For General provisions on participation. LOE-Chapter III regulates governing and educational coordination bodies.Article 126. Composition of the School Board. Spanish Constitution of 1978. Article 27: Right to education.LOMCE. LOE: Principles of education (Art. 1). LOMCE. LOE. Purpose of education (Art. 2). LOE: Title V. Participation, autonomy and governance of the centres.
For Family rights and duties: Article 4 of the LODE. For Parents' associations: LODE in Article 5 . And Regarding students, Article 8 of the LODE.

I founded this video very useful to explain what is the parent involvement and the legislations that affect this.

After reading an article from Jose Luis Pazos, know I understand better the participation of parent's association, and why the participation of them are important in the educational context.

I wasn't quiete sure of how to promote an effective participation of students int he classroom,  how to encourage participation? and how to assess participation and after reading an article from the  University Avenue West Waterloo know I understand all this and more thing, including what does participation mean?.

Lesson 10: Assessment of the schools.

Lesson 10: Assessment of the schools The preliminary. Ideas that I have of this topic is that assessment is used in schools for different objectives, and that there are different types of assessment and that there are different laws affecting assessment of schools. In this lesson I have learned for what is assessment used for example to know the degree to which each one of the proposed objectives has to be achieved, or to detect the problems that the organisation is having. I have also learned the questions that must be answered in the assessment process: What contents are need to be assessed?, How do we assess the contents?, When do we assess the contents? , and Why do we assess the contents?. I have also learned the elements that are assessed: the educational system (students, teaching staff…), Schools ( didactic aspects, structural aspects, relationship aspects) , the t eaching process, the assessment of the Elements that make up the teaching-learning...
