 Governing bodies and governing positions



The preliminary ideas that I have of this practice that there are different governing positions and bodies, and that there are regulated with different regulations.

In this practice I have learned who is part of the body of the center in which I am working (these include the governing positions (director, head of studies and the secretary and the governing bodies (school council and the teacher board)). In this practice I have also learned what are the regulations of the governing bodies. I have also learned what are the  overlapping functions that affect this bodies and what body would perform these functions better.  

In this practice we also talked about the different bodies of educational centers, and what aspect could be improved.




I found this video interesting, while it explains the functions of the different governing bodies  and positions in the school.
After reading an article of the Spaninsh Government,  I have a more clear vision of all the functions that directors have according to LOMCE.

 Also I looked to more webpage to have a more bigger view of all the functions of the governing positions and bodies and in an article from Cibercolegio UCN, which explains all the governing bodies and positions and their functIons. Also for this, I have found a slide share, from Cesar Luis Silgado Verbel, where in his slideshare he has talked about the governing bodies and  positions and their functions, and he explains them in a very easy way to understand them,.

Lesson 9: Participation in education centers. The preliminary ideas that I have of this topic are that families, student and staff of the school must participate in education centers, and that there are regulations regulating this participation. I have learned that participation in schools is necessary. Also, the measures to foster the partipation of the educational community (for example: Encouraging organisations in each sector (associations) or Providing resources that encourage participation).
